Art. VI, Sec. 23
Procedure for lodging objection before balloting

Sec. 23. At any time after a petition for the degrees or affiliation is received, objection to his election may be made orally or in writing by any member of the lodge privately to the Master; if objection is made before balloting, unless such objection be withdrawn within sixty (60) days, such objection shall have the effect of a rejection by ballot and shall be so reported to the Grand Secretary. A committee need not be appointed, or if appointed, need not act, after an objection is received, unless the objection is withdrawn. If an objection is made, the Master shall report the fact at the next stated meeting of the lodge and the sixty (60) day period shall commence to run from the date of such meeting.
