BASIS FOR RECOGNITION OF GRAND LODGES

(a)

RESOLVED, that the following be adopted as the fundamental requirements in establishing regularity as the basis for recognition of Grand Lodges by the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines:

I. Legitimacy of the origin of constituent lodges uniting to form a Grand Lodge.

II. Sovereign and independent control of Ancient Craft Masonry in the State, province or other territorial divisions constituting the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge.

III. Belief in God, and the presence of the Bible on the Altar as the Great Light in Masonry. Inherent in this is the acceptance of the doctrine of the immortality of the soul. (Proceedings 1915,62)
