Sec. 3. Duties. It shall be his duty:
a. To attend the stated and special meetings of the Lodge to which he is appointed and the Lodge of Instruction held in his District or in the Grand Lodge;
b. To instruct and qualify the officers of the Lodge and, when delegated by the Senior Grand Lecturer to do so, to issue certificates of proficiency to those officers who qualify;
c. To report to the District Deputy Grand Master the failure of any newly-elected Master or Warden of the Lodge to qualify within sixty (60) days subsequent to his election;
d. To transmit to the District Deputy Grand Master and the District Grand Lecturer concerned, on or before the first day of March of each year, an account of the work and accomplishment of the Lodge and his official duties;
e. To obtain the approval of the District Deputy Grand Master of any program of the Lodge involving the District;
f. To assist the District Deputy Grand Master and the District Grand Lecturer concerned in the performance of their duties within the Lodge;
g. To submit a Monthly GLI Report to the District Deputy Grand Master;
h. Within seven (7) days from receipt of the report of the Committee on Investigation as furnished by the Master of the Lodge, the Grand Lodge Inspector (GLI) is bound to do the following:
i. To personally examine and determine the sufficiency of the investigation report; ii. In case of DENIAL, make his comment and/or recommendation on the same report stating the reason(s) for his denial; and iii. In case of APPROVAL, make a certification/attestation that subject recommendation is satisfactory.
Provided, that no petitioner/candidate shall be balloted unless the Grand Lodge Inspector has made an attestation/certification that: "he has examined the report and the same has substantially complied with the requirements of the Constitution and relevant Edicts and rules relating to the investigation of a Petitioner/Candidate" (Edict No. 275 Section 3 MW Rentoy).
i. To be present at the balloting of petitioners or election of lodge officers and to ascertain that the duties of the Master under m, n and o of Sec. 2, Art. XI, Part II- Ordinances and duties of Secretary prescribed in k, l and m of Sec. 1, Art. XIV, Part II-Ordinances are duly complied with; (Edict No. 276 MW Rentoy).
