EDICT NO. 281

INTRODUCTION OF THE GRAND MASTER AS GUEST SPEAKER

WHEREAS, when the Grand Master is invited in Masonic functions he automatically becomes the Guest of Honor and Speaker;

WHEREAS, the bio-data of the Grand Master, in all likelihood, has been published in the Cabletow after he was elected as Junior Grand Warden and as Grand Master, or the same is repeatedly read every time he is introduced as the Guest Speaker in any Masonic affair;

WHEREAS, the Grand Master is the highest official in the Grand Lodge of the Philippines and therefore needs no further introduction whenever he is introduced as Guest Speaker.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, TOMAS G. RENTOY III, by the powers in me vested as Grand Master, do hereby decree that whenever the Grand Master is being introduced as Guest Speaker, the following shall be declared.

"Brethren, ladies and gentlemen (if public), the Grand Master of Masons in the jurisdiction of the Philippines, Most Worshipful (full name of the Grand Master)

This Edict shall take effect immediately and shall be read in open Lodge at the Stated Meeting next following its receipt and duly recorded in the Minutes.
