THE WORD "SUBORDINATE"

The word "subordinate" as used in the Constitution, means "placed in a lower order, class, or rank". The word "constituent" means "serving to form, compose or make up, component or constitutive".

The word "subordinate" is the proper word that expresses the relation of the Lodge to the Grand Lodge, which is the Supreme Masonic Power in the Philippines.

The Grand Lodge is not composed of Lodges, but is made up of Masters, Wardens and Past Masters of Lodges under the jurisdiction of the Grand Lodge.
